The Home’s 31^st Birthday On 23rd July the Home celebrated its 31^st birthday with a Tea Dance organised by Carol Roberts. A few committee members were persuaded to volunteer to dance while the residents tucked into plates full of fancy cakes. A Birthday cake was made by Sandra the Head Chef and cut by Gina while we all sang Happy Birthday. The residents danced (while still sitting down) the Hokey Cokey and The Music Man and the afternoon was completed with a sing-along of old songs. I for one was worn out !!! This will be the last Birthday party in the old Home as we will be in the new Home next Birthday. 2012 Fete The date for our annual Fete has been set for Sunday June 10th 2012 at 2:30 until 4:30pm The good news is, it will be held at the New Home.
